The Protect Our Next initiative aims to educate, engage and enroll everyday South Africans, associated civil society organisations as well as key government policy makers through a strategically developed media and communications approach. The campaign focuses on developing, packaging and promoting tobacco control content that is relevant and effective to enhance the progression of the Draft Tobacco Control Bill.

The Protect Our Next initiative aims to educate, engage and enrol South African citizens. The ’me’ focuses on direct messaging to trigger individual adoption of the bill through education on tobacco harm and it’s adverse effects on individual citizens and the health of our nation.

Community

Our community outreach channel focuses on educating, engaging and enrolling urban, peri-urban and township communities.  Our objective is to drive awareness and support for the proposed Draft Tobacco Control Bill, through community education on tobacco harm and tobacco industry tactics.
